Annual Seeds of Gratitude Celebration
Join us annually on an amazing journey to reimage our youth’s future at the World Youth Foundation Seeds of Gratitude event. This phenomenal family event will take place in the summer at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. This initiative is a fundraiser to support and help WYF to continue providing innovative out-of-school time programs for youth at no cost to communities across Houston and surrounding areas. The 2022 theme was “Affirming Life- Bravely, Boldly, and Beautifully”. The Seeds of Gratitude is a culmination of the Youth Innovative Incubator Program (YIIP), where students throughout the Greater Houston area are showcased for their 12 months of project-based learning for education, college, career readiness, and community service impact. We celebrate our student scholars during the event, and a student entrepreneurs marketplace is available to shop.

A Year of Reshaping and Strategic Investments highlight a few things that are as vital as securing resources for those who will lead our nation in the years ahead. The World Youth Foundation (WYF) has long been committed to rising up the next generation of leaders, and we continue to stay laser-focused on this special initiative dedicated to that task. The activities spark civic engagement and public policy. Through this initiative, WYF collaborates with Youth In Action and the Annual Legislative Conference – Congressional Black Caucus. We ensure the students are directly engaged with local, state, and federal government.
